This page provides an architectural overview of how the Web Control Center works and
outlines the steps required to set up the system.

Setting Up Web Control Center
When you purchase the Centennial Discovery® Web Edition, you receive a serial number which enables you to
install the Web Control Center from your Centennial Discovery® Web Edition CD.
Refer to the Readme files on the CD for information on system requirements.
Then follow the setup wizard to install Web Control Center on your server.
Collecting Data
The data used by the Web Control Center to generate the reports is stored in
the Discovery repository and is collected automatically.
Web Control Center Users
The Web Control Center can be used by any member of your organization who has been set
up as a Web Control Center user. The level of access is configurable, so that some
users can only read information and generate reports, whilst others can update
information or help manage the site. Web Control Center supports a guest account
which allows any user without an account to perform queries and run reports.

Customizing Web Control Center
Web Control Center can be customized to conform to your company's Intranet
standards. For example, the page background, header graphics, and navigation
graphics can be changed to reflect your corporate image. You can also add links
to additional information or other Web sites. Contact your local reseller for
more information on how to customize your Web Control Center.
